First Day of First Grade

Here's what my sweet first grader is doing at 9 am on his first day of school (school starts at 8 am)...


Before your jaw hits the ground and you try to accuse me of being a poopy mom, you have to know that poor Andrew was sick all day yesterday and last night. Poor little man caught a tummy bug, it seems - so no first day of school. :( We're hoping he holds together today, so that we can go visit after school is out this afternoon and show him around, let him meet his teacher, see his classroom, ect. Fingers crossed!

After breakfast, Andrew hit the video games and Matthew snuggled his puppy. Oh - and I have to give major kudos to Trixie for taking good care of us last night. She did NOT leave Andrew's side all night! Slept right at his feet 100% of the evening. She's a good, good dog.
