Time to Blog Again (update on us!)

I've all but given up on my blog...until today. Not only did I finally find a way to upload all of my pictures at once (saving me about 20 minutes per regular post!), but I have a new camera that I'm learning to use and have a lot of pictures to show off along the way! Plus, Mike is home - our little family is finally back together again. We have a Mikey, a Mommy, two monkeys and a Trixie. Life is good!

I have a bazillion pictures and will caption them so you can follow along in the joys of our past several weeks of summer vacation.

Mike has a pair of boxing gloves he uses for training...and for mini-angry people...

Mr. Matthew has a new obsession - bandaids. Poor baby has horrible eczema on his fingers and toes, so it's not a terrible obsession for him to have right now. Hopefully once he's not in and out of a pool so much, he'll get to heal up a little better...

Our living room had a mini-flood. Not sure what caused it (a pipe from outside, perhaps?) - but we had a contractor tear out the wall and carpet - now we're waiting for it to dry so he can patch it all back up. The boys don't mind playing XBox together in their plastic curtained room. It feels like we're being quarantined to me - can't wait to have a real window again!

The boys do a lot of coloring, painting and crafts inbetween video games and swimming lessons...

After swim lessons, everyone (Auntie Mel included) is tuckered out...

My little sweeties - the sweetest brothers in the world - snuggle up to watch their mini (and I mean *mini*) DVD player...nevermind the HUGE tv in the corner of this same room. Mommy made the boys these quilts while they were with their dad over winter break...

Mike is a hard worker - he helped me make the front yard beautiful!

Matthew's biggest joy is hanging out with his Auntie...

Andrew helped me out, too! Such a great kid...

My project while the boys 'ho-ed' - is that a word? And is it appropriate that my son and boyfriend are ho-ing at all? :)

The swimming pool is dead now (lasted a summer and a half!) - but when it was up, the boys lived in it!

Matthew is "Link" a lot these days - a superhero of sorts. No, wait...Matthew said, "He's a God, Mom. He saves the princess." So there you go - Matthew is Link...aka God.
