October, So Far...

Trixie helps me wake Andrew up. Without her, mornings would be a lot less pleasant. She learned how to get up on the top bunk (and has also learned how to open the back door!) - snuggles, giggles and all smiles at 7 am every morning. Love it!

Silly dog "smiling"...

Look how happy the boys are! Every boy needs to grow up with a dog :)

When Andrew goes to school, Matthew does it 'his way'...here, he was already dressed and put his jammies back on over his clothes - backwards, nonetheless. And then he put his monkey 'leash' on and asked me to walk him. Ha ha ha!

Auntie Mel came over on a day off from school and we made homemade pizzas - dough and all! Yum!

Matthew made his own - pepperoni and mozzerella...

Andrew's sounds strange, but was surprisingly good (I ate his leftovers!)...pepperoni, pineapple, mozz and feta!

Yum!

Here's an example of a 'fun' snack. I try...I remember being a kid, and how easily amused I was - and I really have so much fun making life a little more fun for the boys (it makes things more fun for me, too!) Here, they had pudding in a cloud (cool whip) with gummy tarantulas on top!
I loved the look on their faces when they got their treats :)

Trixie really wishes she were human (while I want to come back in my next life as a dog - Oprah's dog, to be exact!)...and wanted to get in on the snack action. I caught her in the act...

Last Saturday, we went to Michael's craft store and decorated pumpkins! Matthew made "Dwac-u-wa"...

And Andrew made this neat spiderweb pumpkin...

The biggest news is that little Matthew is now a real GYMNAST! He is amazing in there! His teacher's name is Jessica...she stretches him, coaches him, spots him - he's already learned quite a bit - can't wait to watch him flourish! When he finished his first class, he said, "This is SO MUCH FUN!" with the biggest smile on his face. Yeay! I love that he has something for HIM for the first time...he's spent countless hours hanging out while his brother was in Taekwondo and now soccer.

After his first class, I was SO proud of him (he focuses so well, has ZERO shyness to him when starting something new and was just so cooperative and amazing) that I took him to lunch. He picked....Target peanut butter and jelly with an Icee. LOL! A whopping $2 meal! We had a great time together, though. :)

There we go - all caught up! I wish I could blog more soccer pictures - but those action shots can be tricky to get...especially when I'm coaching or wrangling unruly parents! :)
Oh - in other news - my paperwork for my passport was submitted today. I'm going to CHINA!!! :D
