This big pile of seaweed started to wash up - Andrew wanted to pull it up onto shore - easier said than done! The sucker was heavy and slippery - but we did it!

...and looked for critters inside of it....

Trixie has a thing for other dogs - it's what dogs do, right? She has to say hi to every single dog within a quarter mile radius. This tiny dog was waaaay down the beach...Trixie ran down full speed, stopped abruptly about 20 feet away and threw herself onto her belly in a totally submissive position. The rottie was only 12 weeks old - such an adorable, sweet puppy!

When it was time for him to go, Trixie wasn't having it - this is a common scene when I take her out and about...gotta work on that leash training!
